Harrow Carers is deeply saddened at the news of the death of

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Over the seventy years of her reign, The Queen has provided a constant example of selfless devotion to duty and public service. Without doubt, her unwavering style of calm leadership has been a reassuring presence in the lives of so many of us, particularly in times of national crises.

She was a champion of the United Kingdom, and the Commonwealth. Her work to support a wide range of good causes, including unpaid carers, has had a significant impact on the lives of many.

We remember back to the celebrations we have enjoyed during her reign, especially the Platinum Jubilee earlier this year. Such celebrations enabled us to come together and enjoy a sense of community. This was especially so for our unpaid carers in Harrow, where our Platinum Jubilee Fun Day celebration was enjoyed by both young and old alike.

If you, or a carer you know, has been affected by the news of Her Majesty’s death and would like to talk to someone, please get in touch. We are here.

On behalf of our staff, trustees and unpaid carers across the borough, Harrow Carers sends its sincerest condolences to members of the Royal Family.

Charmian Boyd, CEO
